I just had my hair cut by Kailyn Brosky and she did a fantastic job! I had gone way too long between cuts and she knew exactly what to do to make my hair feel light, fresh, and healthy. Plus, she is the sweetest person and it was a pleasure to chat wit her! I would highly recommend Kailyn to anyone and I look forward to having her cut my hair again.

Fair warning: I might be a little biased because I went to school with Aly but honestly she can cuts like a genius.
My consultation was maybe one of the best I've ever had in my life...the right amount of knowledge and back and forth.I got to cut a chunk for Aly's Instagram (way to make a gal feel loved), a relaxing shampoo, and a great chat while cutting. Aly helped me feel more confident and gave me some fabulous samples to help me along.
I went from mid arm to pixi and had the most fun time ever getting my hairs cut. Not to mention the decor and the vibe. It's a whole awesome vibe at Play. Oh ya... And I look absolutely fabulous. A bunch of people on Facebook have told me so.

This hair salon is well maintained, cute and lively. All the chairs were full when I arrived. I was greeted right away and felt very welcomed. They also use Bumble & Bumble hair products which are great.
My stylist was Ceanna and she did a fantastic job on my hair. It was down to the middle of my back and lifeless and she helped me get the half shaved/lob I've been wanting for years. She also made sure that the half shaved part could be hidden as I work an office job.
I've bounced from salon to salon but I think I finally found a place to keep going back to.

I love coming to Play for my hair appointments! I always feel at home and very comfortable. Carly has been styling me for what feels like forever, and I'm so grateful to have that special bond with someone.
The salon has a retro cool vibe that makes you feel inspired to take on a risky hairstyle- or not, either way you will feel relaxed. There's always a superfluous supply of fancy coffee and a fun photo station at the salon.
As with any salon, it's a lot spicier during the weekends, so I definitely appreciate fluctuating between a daytime appointment vs. an evening appointment that will be quieter.
I have NEVER had a bad experience here and everyone is extremely friendly - overall good vibes. Highly recommend!

Had my first appointment at Play Hair Lounge last friday with Toni. First of all, the staff is so frindly-the receptionist showed me around the salon and after my appointment, the owner came up and introduced herself and welcomed me.
So, hopped up on caffeine, I was a little embarrassed by how fast and how much I told Toni about my hair and what I wanted. She wasn't phased and knew exactly what I was looking for, and even gave me a few solutions on dilemmas I was having (to cut it all off or not/bangs/etc)...
She worked her magic and I absolutely LOVE my hair!
Also I was a little hesitatnt about them selling Bumble & Bumble products only, but I quickly changed my mind when she walked through/demonstrated the products she used in my hair. I ended up purchasing two products-the Heat/UV Primer and the DrySpun Finish Powder...I really enjoy these so far, and I love how my hair smells after using both products!
I'm so happy that I have finally found a salon/stylist that are wonderful and I don't have to drive too far to get to!

Jena is the best! Been going to her for over 10 years now she rescued my horrible A line hair cut from a salon in Westlake Village, since then I only trust Jena with my hair. We always have the best catch up conversations. Jena knows exactly what my hair needs and makes sure I love it. She also does my daughter and my husband's hair. Love her!
